Outside World is a new addition to Dawson County.  As such, they were required to follow the GA 400 Development guidelines.  They did a fantastic job in complying with the guidelines.  All fixtures are full cutoff and their parking lot is not excessively bright.  We need to have more businesses like Outside World come to our county.  Their impact on the night sky is minimal.  The only reason they got an A- is that they leave their parking lot lights on during closed hours.

This photograph shows the locations of some of the correctly designed light fixtures. Outside World only has 2 parking lot lights and about 5 wallpack light fixtures.

This is the Outside World at night. If the parking lot lights were turned off at night during closed hours, this property would look great at night.

This photograph shows the the B fixture in the first photograph. Notice how all of the light is directed downward where it is intended, instead of the viewers eyes creating glare.

Here is one of the parking lot lights (A in the first photograph). Notice how this light is a full cutoff fixture, ie. the light source and the lens is not visible when viewed from the side.
