Best Western Motel is an example of unchecked light pollution.  None of their lighting could be considered "Good Neighbor" lighting. Their fixtures are not full-cutoff or are installed incorrectly.  Their building would be much more attractive with subdued lighting using full cutoff fixtures.

This photograph shows the location of some of the light fixtures used by Best Western.  They utilize BAD light fixtures throughout their property.  The wall pack light fixtures (A) ring the entire building.

This photograph shows Best Western at night. This perspective shows the A fixture around part of the building.  This lighting creates considerable glare which blinds drivers entering their parking lot.

This picture shows the A light fixture.  These wallpack light fixtures are BAD.  They allow their light to travel horizontally which creates glare and light pollution.  These fixtures ring the entire building.

This shows the B light fixture. This lighting arrangement is also BAD because the fixtures are not pointing 90 degrees down. The rule is that if you can see the light source or the lens when viewing from the side, it will create light pollution.
